This endearing little historic town has a number of galleries, some of which are really worth a visit. The dogs are going along too because the hilly region is perfect for hiking. One of the galleries we always visit is De Gezusters because they represent the work of Loek Hambeukers.

Loek Hambeukers makes bronze sculptures and bowls.
He begins by drawing a pattern in a wax model, and then the final form is cast and finished. The result is mystical looking bowls that seem to be hundreds of years old and just dug out of the earth.
