(Oct. 23 through  Oct. 31) Meesterlijk is a platform where craft, design and art come together.  Over 90 professional industry – and free fashion designers, manufacturers and craftsmen present and sell their products at Meesterlijk

Unique and handcrafted design objects, furniture, objects of metal, glass / crystal, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, bags, shoes, hats, art and more.

Last year I attended Meesterlijk and it was a great pleasure!

Studio De Winkel is a great webstore for art, living, fashion and kids. During Meesterlijk 4 artists / designers will be present in the stand of Studio De Winkel. They give visitors a look behind the scenes and work on-site on their projects.

One of them is Esther Derkx a product designer. On Meestrlijk, Esther is going to present little plates with a permanent and a temporary (chocolate) decoration to the public who may lick or buy them.

In more then 60 locations one can see a wide spectrum of design.
A new initiative this year and part of The Dutch Design week is  “Meesterlijk Design en Ambacht”. More then 100 professional designers, crafts people, manufactures and artists are showing and selling their exceptional handmade products.

This is the first time in Holland, as far as I know, that art, design and crafts are presenting their work together, which is a great initiative!
I can’t wait to see it…22  until 25 October. Below some photos of  participants of Meesterlijk Design and Ambacht.
