Always wanted to know how to make jewelry?
This is your chance to take classes with a Master Metalsmith!
My partner Jan Kerkstra teaches with much pleasure at the Centrum voor de Kunsten, de Meldij in Drachten, The Netherlands. Currently, there is still room in some classes.
Up to 12 people are in the classroom and Jan is trying to give individual attention to everyone as much as possible.
In this course you will learn how to design and to make jewelry and small objects. Tools are discussed and much attention is paid to the various basic gold-and silversmiths techniques such as; filing, sawing, soldering and polishing. Attention is also paid to design, dimensions and learning to work precise.
