My blog The Latest Story are thoughts and images about (my) jewelry, art, nature, design, food, architecture and other things I find inspiring in life. I hope to inspire you or make you laugh, with my observations and images which I try to post daily.

About me
My name is Marion Pannekoek and I am a designer and maker of contemporary jewelry, based in The Netherlands. Together with my partner Jan Kerkstra, I run The Jewelry Story, an Atelier and Shop for modern and unique handmade jewelry.
My jewelry designs transpire from the world around me; I look at art, fashion and architecture. All my designs are made with love, and a high standard of craftsmanship.
Although it looks like I have the interests of a city person, and indeed often we visit art galleries and museums, I really like to be outside in my big flower garden. I live in the countryside and our house, studio and gallery are in the middle of green pastures with black and white cows.
I am a pretty good cook and try to eat mostly out of my herb and vegetable garden.
This blog is where I save those two sides in me, the urban and the countryside.
