As I write this post it is snowing outside … I wonder … will this winter ever stop? By now I am longing to spend more time outdoors and to work in my garden…
Anyway I like to show to you today some pictures of The London Tweed Run. In these images you can tell spring just started … I hope they cheer you up!
The London Tweed Run is a 13-mile long metropolitan bicycle ride around the streets of London.
Every year over 600 participants hit the streets wearing their best and most stunning ensemble of jackets, trousers, hats and other vintage accessories from the ”Old Britain” style of the 1930′s and 40′s.
Riders begin the day in Princess Garden, just in front of the Hyde Park as a jazz orchestra playes tunes from the era. The journey takes the bicyclists along the Royal Albert Hall, Westminster Palace and Big Ben.
Refreshments are provided for with a small break for tea, coffee and cupcakes.
I hope this is a dog?
The ride finishes after 13 miles … time for the riders to toast whiskey sours to an event where style matters more than performance.

Why do they do this? And is he really ‘wearing’ his dog like a fox collar or just keeping it safe from the bike madness?!!

Ha, ha most people like “big to does” like this and want to be seen in cute outfits? As for the dog … some people use their dogs as an accessory …
