Jan and I would like to go on a small holiday in june…
For a periode of 9 days, between June 15 and June 30, 2013, we are looking for a person (s) to house sit our small quietly situated cottage in Wijnjewoude, Friesland, The Netherlands.
Our house is situated near the woods around Beetsterzwaag. Drachten is 10 (car) minutes away and the city of Groningen is half an hour away. A great opportunity for someone who loves stillniss and nature.
It is a perfect place for somebody who appreciates peace and quiet and is not so much into luxury. Because for example, there is no microwave, coffeemachine, dishwasher or dryer. And there is a tricky steep stairs to the upstairs bedroom. However there is a fantastic bed with Auping mattresses for 2 persons a great (music) sound system, a big cooking oven and a woodstove.
The one who is house sitting should have a love for pets and animals as there are chickens,
22 pigeons and a cat. These animals need care every day. The house is surrounded by meadows and a beautiful garden. Shops and a bus stop are just over a quarter cycling distance. (bicycles available)
