Last weekend Jan and I visited Sculpture Gallery Het Depot in Wageningen, The Netherlands. It was downright overwhelming. The architecture of the buildings, the amount of wonderful sculpture, delicious and special food in the restaurant … very worth while visiting.
Sculpture Gallery Het Depot shows torsos and fragments by sculptors both domestic and foreign. Below a (small) impression ….
Apologies for the lack of names of the sculptors, I forgot to write down their names while taking photos … very stupid … I know.

Gerrit Offringa, an artist from the Nothern part of The Netherlands, whose work really appeals to me.

These feet is the first sculpture on entry …

The whole kitchen consisted of pots and pans with buttocks and breasts. In real life it was bigger and more impressive …

Again the sculpture of Gerrit Offringa, this time from another angle.

Here I am looking out over the park and the sculpture garden.

Frivolous legs from the ceiling …

Breasts …

And the last one; a sculpture made of mesh.

.These images show how versatile and varied the range of sculpture is in Het Depot. While you’re there don’t forget to visit the restaurant!
