The weather is still lovely, but already you smell autumn in the air, the first leaves fluttering on the grass and the end of summer is near …
Yesterday we decided to have a barbeque and we had wonderful young little white chicks for dinner …

No just kidding, here they are!
Typical end of summer harvast …

A lost homing pigeon landed on our roof. The bowls are grain and water. Meanwhile I have him or her, I don’t know yet, lured in my pigeon loft. On the dove’s ring it said it is a German pigeon.
I keep him for a week with my other pigeons to get his strength back and then set him free, maybe he flies back to Germany or maybe he decides to stay …

This is probably the last canoe trip we made this season … it was still lovely on the water …

Beautiful images! Love the one of you in the canoe. Enjoy the rest of the good weather – wet, misty and definitely chilly here today!
