Today I like to show you the progress we have made with the assignment of Museum de Buitenplaats in Eelde, The Netherlands.
As I wrote here earlier, we were approached by the museum with the request to design some pieces of jewelry inspired by their logo.
Logo of Museum de Buitenplaats.
This is what we have made so far; a ring …
… and a brooch.
The picture frame is made of silver, a portion of which is inlaid with ebony. Cuff links and a pendant are in the works …

Both look fantastic! I love how the brooch frames the underlying colour, pattern and textures…but I particularly love the ring. Can’t wait to see the rest.

Thank you Lois,
Yes The Museum wanted to leave the space in the frame open. It is also possible to place a photo inside the frame of the brooch or the pendant.

Lieve Marion & Jan,
Thanks for the mail. Love those earrings. Surely, they will be a best seller.
The architecture & landscaping of the museum are intriguing; the perfect showcase for your work. GOOD FORTUNE TO YOU !
