Do you remember a few weeks back when Jan began to work on a Silver Christening Spoon? Click here to read about the beginning of this assignment.
The whish of the client was to have a silver spoon with the image of a hare.
The spoon is inspired by a drawing of the Dutch illustrator Cornelis Jetses and this is the result. (Apologies for the quality of the photo, a silver spoon is really hard to photograph).
Meanwhile, the spoon was given to the newborn baby. It was a fantastic and very neat commission to work on. Please click over here to read the enthusiastic response of the client and his family.

This is really quite incredible! The amount of detail is astounding and Jan has captured so beautifully the look and feel of Jetses’ drawing.
I think the lucky owners said it all in their lovely response – a truly unique gift made by two very special people. Wonderful!
