Musée Des Arts Décoratifs in Paris is hosting the first big retrospective of Hussein Chalayan’s work since he began in the mid 90′s.
Presenting clothes, films and installations, the exhibition shows to which endless extent the visionary designer is able to go beyond the restrictions of clothes.
Chalayan has its unique take on fashion design and has experimented with architecture, technology, science, politics and philosophy. For 17 years he folowed his own path and today he is one of the most innovative, experimental and conceptual fashion designers.
