The lovely diffuse light in my small greenhouse is excellent for photographing shiny jewelry. And this time of the year it is nice and warm in there too. In a few weeks time small tomato plants are all lined up in there but in the meantime I use it as my petite photo studio.
Photographing jewelry is rather difficult and I am afraid that of the many photos I took today, this is the only one what came out half way decent.
It’s a one of a kind brooch made of rosewood, silver and gold. The design is by my partner Jan Kerkstra.
The brooch is named “Watch your mail” because that’s what’s written, in mirror writing, in the silver.

That is a nice piece. The rosewood has a beautiful color and is lovely with the grey!
