Yesterday I discoverd a surprisingly nice gallery on the internet.
The Lilja Zakirova Gallery was founded in 1993 and is located in the historic town of Heusden, near Rotterdam. The gallery represents contemporary artists from Russia. Lilja Zakirova selects its artists on a personal basis without taking into account the issues of the day.
Especially the Russian digital artist, Katerina Belkina makes striking work …
Hommage to Klimt, self-portrait from the series ”Paint” by Katerina Belkina.

Hommage to Malevich, self-portrait from the series ”Paint” by Katerina Belkina.

Hommage to van Gogh, self-portrait from the series ”Paint” by Katerina Belkina.

These are incredible. I have just had a quick glance but I need to read some more about her work. Quite mesmerising!
