Sunday we went to Anningahof a sculpture garden near Zwolle, The Netherlands. A beautiful, sometimes daring collection of sculptures on 6 acres of land.
Work by Gerard Groenewoud (looks very surrealistic, also because of the sinister clouds)
If you’re walking on the estate Anningahof and see the dozens of sculptures, you can hardly imagine that once cattle grazed here.
In the former working farm of his parents, son Hib Anninga started the great sculpture garden six years ago.
The plans for the sculpture came when he was working with a landscape architect on a design for the garden.

What a great place and another I hope we get a chance to visit. I love how the grass is left to grow wild rather than manicured.
…and Brittany is a great place. One of our best holidays was staying near Quimper. However, we did have a a house rather than a tent but we had two children!
