Ann Van Hoey was an industrial engineer before she discovered ceramics.
She finished her studies at the Institute for Arts and Crafts in her hometown Mechelen, Belgium in 2006.

Inspired by origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, van Hoey’s crafting technique results in unusual creations that trigger new chains of associations.
Until june 20, 2010, Ann Van Hoey together with Carine Neutjens will show their works in the Cultuurcentrum Mechelen, Belgium.

The weather forecast tells us it’s going to be beautiful this weekend!
I am planning to work in my new planted flowergarden, pay a visit to the sculpture garden de Hullu and maybe there will be time left over to make a canoo trip! Have a good one too!
