Chikako Kojima is a ceramist and was born in Osaka, Japan but has lived and worked since 2005 in New York City. She makes beautiful understated work, mostly bowls and plates.
Unfortunately her work is not for sale online but her site is a feast for the eyes.
Her work has appeared in Café Life New York, as well as in several catalogs from Morozoff, the Japanese maker of chocolate, cake and other confectioneries. She has also shown at galleries in Soho and Tribeca.
Kojima has an active blog where she posts about her life and work.
