I don’t know why but lately we have a lot of commissions for silver napkin holders. It is indeed a beautiful and lasting gift.
A while back I wrote about this napkin holder. At that time we were inspired by the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
My first design of napkin holders ever were these.

Inspiration came from homemade croissants on a Sunday morning…
Here they are photographed on an antique linen napkin of the Fries Museum, The Netherlands. The museum bought six napkin holders for their permanent collection…
And these silver napkin holders, are made as a wedding gift.

The design of the napkin holders is similar to the wedding rings we made for the bride and groom.
Over the years we have made many napkin rings but unfortunately we did not make a photo of all our commissions…
A very happy and relaxing weekend for everyone!

Marion, they are all gorgeous but I especially love the ones inspired by the Guggenheim, Bilboa. How fantastic that the museum has them in their permanent collection.
It is pouring with rain here and very cold so lots of indoor activities for us this weekend. Hope you have some sun. Enjoy!
