Hello everyone, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas?
When we left our drive still looked like this.
The snow stayed just long enough for us to have a white Christmas. We stayed in a little hotel around the corner of the Kröller-Müller Museum. The second day of our stay was a lovely sunny day and we went for a long walk in the National park de Hoge Veluwe what looked like this…

Afterwards we visited the Kröller-Müller. The many sculptures in the snow looked very nice…. Sculpture of Macherini.
It was a long time since my last visit and I forgot how many great pieces this museum has of van Gogh. Furthermore there was the exhibition Een stoet van beelden – ten Dutch sculptures. For this exhibition two gast conservators Rudi Fuchs and Maarten Bertheux made a choice of the work of ten Dutch sculptures (or working in The Netherlands). It was figurative, abstract and above all recent work of Adam Colton, Jeroen Henneman, Michael Jacklin, Jos Kruit, Jan Maaskant, Avery Preesman, Shinkichi Tajiri, Piet Tuytel, Peer Veneman and Leo Vroegindeweij. The exhibition is until march 2010.

It were two lovely relaxed days. Today we have to start working again to finish a few commissions in time before the new year.
