The last few months were rather slow in our studio. And with slow I mean hardly any commissions came in. That does not mean we weren’t working hard, because we made many new designs in the last half a year. But last week all of a sudden 3 very nice commissions came in. One of them is a napkin holder. We were asked to design a napkin holder for a young man who studies architecture.
The mother ( the ordering customer ) of this young man told us her son really likes the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. It was North American architect Frank O. Gehry who designed this building. So the magnificent architecture of the Guggenheim will be our inspiration for the napkin holder…
